Find My Parked Car & Timer · Last updated: July 5, 2026

Find My Parked Car & Timer ("the App," "we," "us") is a parking-spot saver for iOS. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App uses, how it is stored, and the choices you have. We built the App to work entirely on your device — we do not run servers that collect your data, and we do not sell or share your personal information with third parties.

In short: your parking history, photos, and location data are stored only on your iPhone. We have no backend, no analytics, and no advertising SDKs in this app.

1. Information the App Uses

Data Type Purpose Where It's Stored Shared With Anyone?
Precise location (GPS) To record where you parked and to give you walking/driving directions back to your car. On your device only, inside the App's local data file. No
Photos you choose to attach Optional — lets you attach a photo of your parking spot (e.g., level/row marker) for your own reference. On your device only. No
Notes you type Optional free-text note about your parking spot (e.g., "Level 3, Row B"). On your device only. No
Parking history Past parking sessions (time parked, duration, address) so you can review where you've parked before. On your device only. No
Notifications Local, on-device reminders for parking-meter expiry, scheduled by the App itself (not a push server). On your device only. No
Subscription / purchase data Processed entirely by Apple via StoreKit to manage your Pro subscription. Held by Apple, not accessible to us. Apple only (see App Store's own privacy policy)

What we do not do

2. Permissions the App Requests

3. Subscriptions

Find My Parked Car & Timer offers an optional auto-renewing subscription ("Find My Parked Car & Timer Pro") that unlocks unlimited saved spots, meter reminders, parking history, photos, and directions.

4. Your Choices & Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar data-protection laws, you have rights under GDPR/UK GDPR (or equivalent local law) including the right to access, correct, or erase your data. Because all data described above is stored solely on your device and never transmitted to us, the in-App "Delete All My Data" action is the most direct way to exercise your right to erasure. If you have further questions, contact us using the details below.

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know, delete, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties, so no opt-out is necessary; you may still use the deletion method above at any time.

5. Children's Privacy

My Car Location is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the App does not collect or transmit personal data to us in the first place, no such information is retained on our end.

6. Data Retention

Your parking spot, history, photos, and notes remain on your device until you delete them individually, use "Delete All My Data," or uninstall the App. We do not retain copies anywhere else because we do not receive this data.

7. Security

Data stored by the App benefits from the security protections built into iOS, including sandboxing and (if enabled) device encryption and iCloud backup encryption. Because your data never leaves your device to reach our servers, there is no server-side transmission for us to secure.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App's functionality or for legal reasons. If a change is material, the App's first-run privacy notice will be shown again the next time you open it. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
