The agreement between you and Hello World Games & Apps for the Video Downloader app.
Video Downloader is a web browser that can save video from pages you open in it. What you are allowed to save is decided by copyright law and by the terms of the site you are on — not by this app. Use it for content you own, content you have permission to save, or content the rights holder offers for download.
Premium is an optional weekly subscription sold through Google Play. It removes advertising and the free version's one-download-a-day limit. Everything else in the app is the same either way.
These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and Hello World Games & Apps ("we", "us") covering the Android app Video Downloader, published on Google Play under the package name research.web.browser.oz.
By installing or using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app. Because the app is distributed through Google Play, Google Play's Terms of Service apply alongside these terms.
You must be old enough to enter into a binding agreement where you live, and old enough to hold a Google account, in order to use the app.
The app is a browser built on the Android system WebView. As you browse, it watches for downloadable media on the page you are viewing and offers to save what it finds.

Some pages must begin playing before an address can be found, and some sites will not work at all. The app is provided as it is; no particular site is guaranteed to be supported now or in the future.
You are solely responsible for what you browse to, what you download and what you do with it afterwards.
We do not host, provide, index or endorse any of the content the app can reach. The app is a general-purpose tool, in the same sense as a browser or a file manager. Using it to infringe someone's rights is a misuse of it, and any resulting claim is yours to answer.

The app can be used free of charge. The free version is supported by advertising and allows one video download per calendar day. Every other feature — browsing, detection, the queue, history, themes, the ad blocker — works exactly as it does with Premium.
Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription, billed weekly, sold and processed by Google Play. A free trial is offered where Google Play makes one available, and it can be claimed once per Google account.

Premium requires a working Google Play Store and Play Billing. On a device without them, the subscription cannot be purchased and the app reports that subscriptions are unavailable.
The free version displays banner advertising supplied by Google AdMob. We do not select, review or endorse the individual ads shown, and any dealing you have with an advertiser is between you and them.
Where consent rules apply, you can review your advertising choices at any time under Settings → Consent preferences. How advertising data is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy.
The app displays websites operated by other people. We do not control them, do not review them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, security or practices. Visiting a site through this app is the same as visiting it in any other browser, and that site's own terms and privacy policy govern your visit.
The app also includes third-party software components, each under its own licence, and services provided by Google. Their terms apply to those components and services.
We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features at any time, including support for particular sites or media formats, and we may release updates that are required for continued use. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and a site that works today may stop working after a change on that site's side.
The app, its name, its icon, its design and its code belong to Hello World Games & Apps or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you control, on these terms. Nothing here transfers ownership of anything to you.
Content you download through the app remains the property of its rights holder. This licence gives you no rights whatsoever to that content.
How the app handles data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: we collect nothing, and your browsing history, download queue and files stay on your device.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, that detection will succeed on any given page, that downloads will always complete, or that files will be free of defects.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. Where that is so, the exclusions above apply only to the extent permitted, and your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost data, lost files, lost profits, device damage or mobile data charges arising from your use of the app.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim arose — which, for a free installation, is nothing, and for a subscription is the subscription fees actually paid.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Uninstalling does not cancel an active subscription — cancel that in Google Play, as described in section 6.
We may suspend or end your licence to use the app if you materially breach these terms, in particular sections 3 and 4. Sections 10, 12, 13 and 16 survive the end of this agreement.
We may update these terms as the app changes. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and the current version is always the one published at this address. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, uninstall the app and cancel any subscription.
These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Hello World Games & Apps is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of that country have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-law provisions of the country where you habitually reside, and you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
