1) Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to use the App. The App does not require you to create an account and does not request location permissions. We do not knowingly permit children to use the App.
2) License and App Content
Subject to these Terms and the applicable app store rules (Apple App Store and Google Play), we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control for personal, non-commercial purposes.
All rights, title, and interest in and to the App— including maps, data, text, graphics, logos, features, and underlying software—are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. Except as permitted by mandatory law, you may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the App. We may revoke this license in accordance with these Terms.
3) Third-Party Services, SDKs, Attribution & Open Source
The App integrates third-party services, including Google AdMob (advertising) and Firebase (analytics/crash reporting). Your use of features powered by these services is subject to their terms and policies as updated from time to time. We are not a party to your relationships with third-party providers and are not responsible for their acts or omissions.
Attribution. Certain features incorporate third-party services that require in-App attribution. We display required notices within the App.
Open-Source Software. The App may include components under open-source licenses. Those licenses govern the components; related notices are provided in-App or on our website.
4) Paid Services: Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing
The App may offer one or more auto-renewing subscription(s) and/or one-time purchases (“Paid Services”). Specific plan names, durations, features, and prices are shown in the App and in the relevant app store at purchase.
Billing & Renewal. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google using your store account. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends at the then-current price.
Trials & Intro Offers. If offered, free trials or introductory discounts convert to a paid subscription at the end of the promotional period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Trials/intro offers may be available once per account/device and may not be available to all users or in all regions.
Manage & Cancel. Manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in your App Store or Google Play settings. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
Refunds. Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple or Google under their policies. We cannot issue refunds directly.
Taxes & Regional Pricing. Prices may include or exclude taxes depending on your country. The store shows the final price.
Price/Plan Changes. We may change prices or features for future periods. Where required, we will provide notice and obtain consent or allow you to cancel before changes take effect.
Access. Subscription features are available while an active subscription is in good standing. If a payment fails or a subscription ends, access to subscription features may be reduced or removed.
5) Advertising
The App may display third-party ads (including personalized ads where permitted by law and store policies). We do not endorse advertised products/services.
Ad Preferences. Where supported, you can adjust ad personalization in system settings (e.g., “Limit Ad Tracking,” “Ads Personalization”) and within any in-App controls we provide. In regions requiring consent, we will request it before showing personalized ads.
6) Acceptable Use & Security
You agree not to:
- use the App in any unlawful, harmful, or abusive manner;
- interfere with or disrupt the App, its servers, or networks;
- bypass or attempt to bypass security or usage limits;
- use automated means (scripts, bots, scrapers) except as legally permitted and expressly allowed by us; or
- infringe any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
Security Research. If you believe you’ve found a security issue, contact us at thehelloworld.apps@gmail.com. Do not exploit, exfiltrate, or publicly disclose before we have a reasonable opportunity to remediate.
7) User Accounts and Content
The App does not provide user accounts, social features, or user-generated content uploads. If any optional feature is introduced later, it will be subject to additional terms provided at that time.
8) Privacy
We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy (linked above). By using the App, you acknowledge that our processing (including via AdMob and Firebase) is described in the Privacy Policy and may involve transfers as permitted by law.
9) App Updates and Changes to the App
The App may automatically download and install updates or enable/disable features. Some updates may be required to continue using the App. By using the App, you consent to receiving these updates.
We may add, modify, or remove features, or discontinue the App (in whole or part) at any time. Where required by law or store policy, we will provide notice.
10) Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, or secure.
Maps and Data. Maps and geographic data may contain errors or be incomplete, outdated, or unavailable in some regions. Always verify critical information through official or authoritative sources.
No Safety-Critical Use. The App is not intended for real-time or safety-critical navigation. Always follow local laws and official guidance.
11) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we (and our suppliers/licensors) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App—even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for all claims relating to the App will not exceed the amounts you paid to us for Paid Services in the twelve (12) months prior to the event giving rise to liability. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases, the above limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted. This Section survives termination.
12) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms or misuse of the App.
13) Intellectual Property Complaints
If you believe the App infringes your intellectual property, email thehelloworld.apps@gmail.com with: (i) identification of the work, (ii) the allegedly infringing material, (iii) your contact details, and (iv) a statement of good-faith belief and accuracy. We may remove content or disable features while we review.
14) Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Türkiye have exclusive jurisdiction and venue except that consumers residing in the EEA/UK/other jurisdictions retain any non-waivable rights to bring claims in their home courts under mandatory consumer law.
15) Export and Sanctions Compliance
You must comply with applicable export control and sanctions laws, including those of Türkiye, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States. You may not use or access the App where prohibited by such laws or if you are a designated party.
16) Device Permissions & Notifications
Certain features may require optional device permissions (e.g., notifications). You can change permissions in your device settings. The App does not require location permissions.
17) Beta/Preview Features
We may label some features as alpha/beta/preview. They are provided “as is,” may be available for a limited time, and may be modified or discontinued without notice.
18) App Store Terms
When you download the App from Apple or Google, you also agree to their respective terms and policies. Neither Apple nor Google has any obligation to provide maintenance or support, nor any warranty or liability beyond what is required by applicable law.
19) Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App. Upon termination, the licenses granted to you end. Sections 10–15, 18–22 (and any others that by their nature should survive) survive termination.
20) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice in-App or by other reasonable means where feasible. Your continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the App before the changes take effect.

22) Miscellaneous
Severability. If any provision is unlawful or unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
Waiver. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
Assignment. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization, merger, or sale.
Force Majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our reasonable control.
Entire Agreement. These Terms (and any policies referenced, including the Privacy Policy) are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App and supersede prior/parallel terms.
Language. These Terms may be translated. The English version controls to the extent of any conflict, unless local law requires otherwise.
